Hello! I’m Miki, MSW

I’m a pre-licensed clinical social worker currently working toward licensure. I support teenagers and adults as they navigate life transitions, daily stressors, interpersonal dynamics, and past or present trauma. I work with clients across the lifespan, including teenagers, new parents, veterans, first responders, and individuals in young, middle, and later adulthood.

How I Work

I approach therapy through a social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, and holistic lens. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and empowered, while also acknowledging both the broader systemic factors and the day-to-day experiences that shape your life. I am EMDR trained and IFS informed, and I enjoy incorporating experiential approaches into my work. Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. You can expect authenticity, honesty, validation, gentle and appropriate challenge, and a strong sense of grounding.

My Background

In addition to my work as a therapist, I have a background as an outdoor educator, which continues to shape how I support clients. I have seen how experiential and nature-based moments can create space for insight, growth, and confidence. I find it meaningful to walk alongside clients as they explore new perspectives, build skills, and move through challenges in ways that feel both supportive and empowering.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, tending to my plants and garden in the summer, hiking and camping, and crafting.
