Hello! I’m Sabitri, MSW

I completed my master’s degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire. I have been in the field of social work for more than five years, working with diverse populations including children and families, adolescents, and adults in achieving their treatment goals. I have clinical experience working with veterans and veteran caregivers, adults (18+), and first responders. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing trauma, women’s health issues, PTSD, medical trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

How I Work

In my approach to therapy, I use a variety of techniques and treatment modalities, including an integrative, person-centered, and strengths-based approach. I also incorporate mindfulness, EMDR, and solution-focused therapy. I am a trained EMDR therapist through EMDRIA. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients, where we can work together toward your treatment goals. I am motivated to support you in overcoming challenges, processing trauma, and continuing to learn from you in order to best support your needs.

What Led Me Here

My work in social services has given me the opportunity to support individuals from many different backgrounds, which has strengthened my commitment to this field. I value being able to walk alongside clients as they work toward their goals and navigate life’s challenges. This work continues to inspire me to provide a supportive space where growth and healing can happen.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking, cooking, and participating in outdoor games. I also enjoy visiting local museums and libraries with my kids and family to learn about cultures, art, and science.
